Life goes on....

Yesterday I was able to spend the day with my best friend Shanna while she was in labor! She delivered in the afternoon and I ended up leaving the hospital around 7pm. I love spending time with the people I love. It really makes me appreciate what I have and those little miracles of life that we all take for granted... :/ Lately I just keep thinking "wow" things cant get worse and honestly, that is so NOT true! Things could be so much worse! I just wanted to take the time to write down what I appreciate in my life and how much I really DO have. I have parents who would do absolutely anything for me and my family! I have fantastic friends that are always here for me when I am having a rough day or need something. I have the most wonderful husband who kept to his word and stood by my side during these hard times. I love him with all of my heart. And last but not least, I have my three amazing children who always can make me smile :) I am so grateful for my life and everyone in it.

March Already??

Holy cow I cannot believe that it is already March! Time is flying by. I guess its like the saying "time flies when you're havin' fun!!" This year so far has already been a million times better than last and we are only 3 months into it! We celebrated Talia's 4th Birthday on Sunday the 6th! All the presents were wrapped in pink and pretty much everything she got was Disney Princesses. She is so excited to be 4 now and keeps telling everyone how big she is! So Cute!! Nothing other than that has been productive since the last update I dont think. Preston has started reading with Grandma Bird once a week on Wednesday nights and is doing very well. We still haven't enrolled Talia in dance (we are procrastinators). Gage is still learning to talk and talks so much! His favorite thing to do right now is pull all of the DVDs out of the shelves and then out of the cases. :) Its really fun to clean up after him also ;) lol. I have started going to a Post-Placement "group" to help me through the grieving process from the adoption. It has been super awesome so far. Josh has been working for his parents company, "Abundant Brands" for the past couple of months and is loving it. He just does maintenance for all of the the Subway and Bajio/Costa Vida stores. My best friend Shanna is going to have her baby Kyson on Monday and I am super excited that I get to be there for that! My parents are in Mexico for my Moms company convention. I am jealous! But they are doing good and are having fun! Anyways, if anything special happens, I will post it. Just another day in the lives of the Hunter Family!! <3

Its been over a year....

Well, It has been over a year since I last posted anything. And wow... what a year it has been. I decided that I need to start staying updated on here so that everyone can know what the family has been up to! What is new? Preston is now 5 years old and he will be starting kindergarten this year. He will be starting T-Ball in May and he is super excited.  Talia is 3, soon to be 4 in March and she has been doing preschool and shortly will be in dance. Gage is almost 2 and doing very well at trying to talk. :) I just had a baby, Carson Richard, which I placed for adoption because of certain circumstances. He is going to be very well taken care of and I love him with all of my heart. Josh is still working for Magleby Construction doing framing. I am going to school at UVU and almost have my associates in Psychology. We are just working hard to stay one big happy family. I have had so much support from my friends and family over this past year and am so grateful for them! I probably would not have survived if it weren't for them and my awesome husband who stuck by my side during my "midlife crisis" I call it. :) So thanks to everyone! I love you all and I will keep updated  on here from now on!

Gage's First Tooth

Tonight was a super fun night! For the past couple of weeks Gage has been so whiny... We had figured that he was teething but no teeth! So we were thinking... what in the world?? Why is he so sad? Today he has been extremely fussy and he didnt want to go to sleep. He had a strange obsession with wanting to suck and bite my finger. Nine O'Clock comes around... (about an hour past his bedtime) and I put my finger back in his mouth to find a tooth that totally wasnt there an hour ago!! So Awesome!!! Congratulations on your first tooth Gage!!

Putting up the Christmas Tree

Well tonight was an adventure... Trying to put up the Christmas tree with all the kids!! They wanted to help with everything! Some would say thats nice, but It makes things so frustrating! We ended up letting the kids decorate their own tree so that they would let us decorate ours! Putting up the Christmas tree is one of my favorite things to do and I usually have it up before Thanksgiving but we had way to much going on... Our tree hasn't changed in about four years except for the new addition of some small glittery stars and the silver bells (thank you mom!!), but the way I look at it is, why fix what isn't broken? Its still cute and I still like the colors. (Plus we dont really have the money for new decorations anyways haha) But this is the final product of both of them together! They were so proud! I am so excited for the month to fly by so we can finally get to Christmas morning!! I cant wait!

The Black Friday Adventure

This Black Friday was most definately the most productive black friday I have ever been shopping on!! First of all, I had everything planned out. On Thanksgiving, My mom, My Aunt Amy and my grandma and I planned what time we were meeting in the morning! Everything I wanted was at Wal-Mart so that made things easy. The morning came and it was 3:30 and Gage woke up and wanted a bottle so Josh and I changed him and got him his bottle and I had set my alarm for four fifteen... Or so i'd thought! So five o'clock rolls around and my mom calls, wondering where in the world I am! I freak out, hopping out of bed faster than I ever had in my life and got in the car and told them i'd meet them at Wal-Mart instead of at my Moms. (That stupid alarm didnt even go off!!!) I ran in to Wal-Mart, grabbing everything I needed!! It was awesome! I got everything on my list and Christmas shopping was done in one fatal swoop! This is going to be an awesome Christmas and I wouldnt trade my shopping experience for anything in the world!! My Mom and I usually get to go shopping on black friday every year and it is so fun to get to spend that time together!! Anyways, I'll put a picture of my "Black Friday Agenda" with this! It is so awesome!!

"New Moon"

Tonight Josh and I are going to New Moon!! We have had our tickets since the middle of August and we are super excited!! (Well at least I am.... I am making him go with me) haha I will have to let everyone know how we feel about the movie! I have heard that it is alot better than the last one. I read the books and this book is probably my favorite out of all... So we will see!! I will add some pictures later of the fun times!!!
